DSL-GAM launches new line of LED lights

MANILA, Philippines - A new line of LED commercial lights has been made available recently to commercial and consumer  market by DSL-GAM Enterprises, a major LED lighting system distributor in the Philippines.

According to Denzel S. Lim of DSL-GAM, the following are now in the market – LED Dimmable Spotlight, LED Track Light COB, LED Downlight and the LED Mini Wallwasher. LED lights are referred to as the green light energy because it protects the environment by consuming 50 percent less energy and does not emit  heat which thins the atmosphere. LED comes in one watt to 10 watts and has a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours so one does not need to replace bulbs for a long time. LED stands for “light-emitting diode” which has a semiconductor that converts electric energy into light energy with minimum consumption.

Lim said that LED usage is now becoming a trend with hundreds of uses in homes, shops, offices, industries, parks, hotels, restaurants, infrastructures, shops, boutiques, jewelry stores, and showrooms among others. LED has now become indispensable for so many reasons foremost of which is  reduction of  electricity costs  but can perform the same tasks as that of other lighting systems. LED lighting is an indispensable system to beautify and brighten up a place whether it be the home or commercial places,  indoors or outdoors.

LED lights come in white, warm white and cool white. Other colors are also available like green, red, pink, yellow and blue. The LED dimmable spotlight is ideal for accents,  in shops, hotels and restaurants. The LED track light COB replaces the conventional halogen track light and is used for jewelry and clothing displays, bars, showrooms and conference rooms. LED downlight is ideal in school buildings, hospitals, pharmacy and decorative lighting in homes and offices. The LED Mini Wallwasher is mainly used on facades of buildings, trees and stages.
