DMCI Homes unveils Zinnia Towers in QC

MANILA, Philippines - DMCI Homes has unveiled another  multi-billion peso residential project, its sixth in Quezon City.

Zinnia Towers, located in a two-hectare property, is a tropical-themed exclusive enclave featuring two 35-story towers nestled within a residential neighborhood in Quezon City not far from thriving business zones. Its North EDSA location is virtually along Metro Manila’s main highway, between the Balintawak interchange in the west and Munoz district in the east. In a short drive going east are the major shopping malls of SM North, Trinoma and Centris plus the emerging New Quezon City Central Business District in North Triangle.

The new QC-CBD will be the future home of retail, wholesale and startup businesses as well as a lifestyle hub.

Zinnia Towers is also surrounded by major roads making travel to any part of Metro Manila easy. Residents can drive or commute to any part of Quezon City via Roosevelt Avenue, Kaingin Road or Sgt. Rivera Avenue. Going to Caloocan and Manila is fast via EDSA and Andres Bonifacio Avenue, respectively. The site of Zinnia Towers also makes it a virtual gateway to northern Luzon. Residents can easily travel to and from Bulacan and other North Luzon desinations via the Balintawak interchange.

DMCI Homes’ newest project will have 1,662 units (either studio, one, two or three-bedroom units), with 35 residential floors, eight parking levels, and six elevators. Unit prices range from P1.867 million to P6.274 million. The amenity area is huge, covering around 1.33 hectares. Each building will have only 56 studio units and each floor will have between 20 to 22 units, in contract to other condominium projects with as must as 60 unit on each floor.

The North Tower is expected to be ready for turnover by May 2016 while there are no plans yet as to when the second tower, the South Tower, will be turned over. Already, about 30 percent of the units at North Tower is sold.

Company officials said that like other DMCI Homes projects, Zinnia Towers will feature the Lumiventt technology, a signature design of DMCI Homes that allows for natural ventilation through well-placed sky patios.

The company expects to generate at least P2 billion in sales from Zinnia Towers.

Officials noted that with a 130-meter right of way from EDSA, Zinnia Towers is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of EDSA. “Its ‘resort’ design, like that of other DMCI Homes-built residential communities, enhances its sanctuary character. The refreshing ambience is everywhere in the 2-hectare property from its cross-ventilated home units to its building breezeways and sky patios, gardens and trees, gazebos and picnic groves, open field, koi pond and swimming pools. The residential towers are also designed to be low density sparing residents from overcrowding. Units vary in sizes from a 25-square-meter studio to an 82-square-meter three-bedroom unit,” they said.

With several unit configurations, professionals and families can choose one that fits their lifestyle, needs and budget. Each unit is complete with living and dining room, bedroom/s, kitchen, toilet and bathroom as well as a balcony that gives a spectacular view of the metropolis.

“While urban families can get a little piece of the countryside atmosphere in Zinnia Towers, suburban residents, from the Camanava area to Central Luzon, can get a sophisticated and cosmopolitan lifestyle in the high-rise community without losing the provincial setting. Breeze and sunlight freshens and illuminates every home unit as Lumiventt design, a signature trademark of DMCI Homes’ development, make possible to permeate fresh cool air and natural light to fill single-loaded hallways and garden atriums by eliminating hot air through sky patios. Six high-speed elevators serve residents in each building. Water supply is ensured by an overhead water tank and cistern. A garbage collection facility takes care of the trash,” the company said.

“Professionals, businessmen and students can rejuvenate and relax after a tiring day at work or school as coming home to Zinnia Towers is like going on a vacation every time. They can have socials, leisure or physical fitness in swimming pools, play areas, garden trails and parks, jogging paths, roof deck gardens, clubhouse, function halls, gym, entertainment/game room and reading area. Housewives and housekeepers have the convenience of getting household needs from the convenience store, laundry shop and water station inside the residential complex. There is also a Property Management Office who takes charge of the maintenance of the common areas. Homeowners do not have to worry every time they leave their homes. Zinnia Towers has a guarded entrance gate, 24-hour roving security and an electrified perimeter fence surrounding the entire development. There will be CCTV cameras placed in strategic locations to monitor the safety of every resident, and emergency back-up power supply during brownouts,” officials added.
