A weekend of family fun at Eton City's open house

MANILA, Philippines - South Lake Village, the first world-class island-lot residential development inside Eton City in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, held its “Open House” recently with prospective unit buyers and their families also given a chance to have great bonding time together.

During the event, dubbed “Family Fun Weekend at Eton City ,” the parents were given a unique tour of the entire township development. Their children, meanwhile, were made to enjoy various fun-filled activities like kite flying, face painting and coloring activity.

The parents and their kids actually had a wonderful time together as employees of KOM Philippines Industries, manufacturer of kites, windsocks, banners, wind toys and model balloons, performed kite-flying exhibitions. The group literally filled the air with colors as kites of various shapes and sizes soared graciously in the sky just outside the Eton City Sales Pavilion grounds.

They also taught the kids the basics of kite-making and kite-flying, a centuries-old Asian practice which also forms part of the rich Filipino culture and tradition.  

The Molino Boaters then put on a show with an adrenalin-pumping contest to see which remote-controlled speed boats will get to the finish line first. The race, which was held inside South Lake Village ’s Ibiza Island, also featured an exhibition of radio-controlled speed boats and ships that screamed along at an astonishing speed of 30kmh in an amazing fun race!

After the boat show, the buyers and their families were also provided a chance to enjoy kayaking, water biking and fishing at the South Lake Village .
