PABA national summit on Sept. 22
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Association of Building Administrators, Inc. (PABA), an internationally recognized organization affiliated with the Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA) based in Washington D.C., has announced that all systems are go for the whole-day celebration in the observance of the Presidential Proclamation No. 12, declaring the Third Week of September of every year as the “National Building Management Industry Week.”
To highlight the event, PABA has initiated a National Summit on Sept. 22, 2011, Thursday, with the theme “PABA: Addressing Today’s Need for Sustainable Development.” The National Summit that coincides with the 35th founding anniversary of the association is a whole day event to be held at the Home Depot-Makati Events Hall, located at Pasong Tamo Avenue, Makati City.
PABA’s chosen venue, with its sufficient exhibit facilities and ample parking spaces, will provide the proper forum for all PABA members to interact, get involved, exchange views, share each other’s experiences and expertise and be informed on new products, technological advances, modern trends and practices introduced in the local market.
PABA invited manufacturers, suppliers, foreign distributors and other allied groups and establishments associated in the building and property management industry to participate and showcase their products and services during the event. Audio-visual and technical presentations as well as actual demonstrations will be made available to advance and improve the knowledge, skills and expertise of participants. Indeed, this is an opportune time for more than 400 corporate and individual members and guests to widen their contacts and upgrade their knowledge and information in building management.
PABA also invited prominent guest speakers in the government and in the private sector in a symposium to present relevant topics pertaining to the industry that are designed to serve the members needs. It will include Metro Manila Earthquake Impact Assessment, Greening the Metropolis Landscape Through Buildings, Fire and Earthquake Evacuation and Rescue, Republic Act 344 - The Accessibility Law, Fire Suppression System and Maintenance and many more.
Fellowship and fun also await the participants in this annual whole-day celebration and gathering of PABA members and guests. There will be prizes galore for lucky raffle winners plus special give-aways to add more excitement and enjoyment to all attendees.
