MANILA, Philippines - Eastwood City Cyberpark is set to mark another milestone this 2011 as its 11th business process outsourcing (BPO) office building will be turned over by November.
The new tower, TechnoPlaza Two, lies along Orchard Road right across the boutique Eastwood Mall. It will have seven floors of office space and two floors of basement parking. With a gross floor area above 34,000 sq.m., TechnoPlaza Two brings the Cyberpark’s total office stock at the threshold of 300,000 sq.m.
Retail areas on the ground floor plus a spacious supermarket, occupying more than 4,600 sq.m., on the second floor will serve the shopping needs of the Eastwood City community. An elevated bridgeway will link the two buildings so that locators’ employees can readily access Eastwood Mall’s many dining and shopping options.
With the building’s large floor plate, TechnoPlaza Two can accommodate up to about 4,000 new workers in total among its locators.

The 2016 goal is important, as the Philippines, the world’s #2 BPO destination, is expected to eclipse current #1 India’s $12.4 billion BPO industry by that year. Since 2008, the Philippines’ offshoring and outsourcing industry registered a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.6%, whereas India only registered 11.92% over the same period.
