Studio Zen: Quality, safe living space for college students

-

MANILA, Philippines - College education is the best way for parents to ensure a good future for their children. Investing in college education, however, is not just about paying tuition, school fees and other academic-related expenses. It also involves providing a living and studying environment that is safe and conducive for learning.

Filinvest Land Inc., recognizing the need for quality living space for college students, will soon introduce another remarkable project - Studio Zen Private Dormitel and Residences along Taft Avenue. Studio Zen is expected to make college life fun and enjoyable to students by having their own space!

Studio Zen will be a college student’s haven away from home. “Studio Zen will help college students adjust to university life and give them a sense of ownership,” says Filinvest first vice president Jing Concepcion. “This in turn, encourages the development of a responsible attitude in terms of tending to basic house chores, budgeting their allowance, and looking after their own welfare.”

Studio Zen will also be an ideal addition to investors’ portfolio because they can lease the units to students. “It will benefit the investors and parents who will buy the units because it will eventually build equity through appreciation of the property,” Concepcion added. “For investors who are planning to rent their units, its strategic location should generate strong demand from prospective lessees.”

This high-rise project was conceptualized with the comforts and fancies of students in mind. The floors are single-loaded which means each unit will look out to an open area instead of at another door across the hall. This type of design, along with the central atrium core will allow natural light and air to circulate freely, and promote a healthy and environmental-friendly lifestyle. Moreover, the building will be constructed with modern, state-of-the-art reinforced concrete structural system which will eliminate columns and beams to maximize space and natural airflow.

Studio Zen will also house retail boutiques, cafe, laundry and water refilling station, photocopy shop and convenience store that will be located in the commercial area at the ground floor. Residents will be able to find most of their basic needs without having to leave the building.

Meanwhile, the roof deck is envisioned to become the social and recreation area for residents with its line-up of valued amenities such as the events and theatre room, game room, fitness center, and sky lounge at the landscaped Zen garden. All these will give residents, especially students, an opportunity to socialize and relax with friends after a grueling day in school.

Studio Zen’s 24/7 secure environment will offer parents “peace of mind” especially since their children are living on their own for the first time. A reception booth at the lobby will be able to strictly screen visitors into the residential area.

The strategic location of Studio Zen is expected to be an incredible convenience because students can travel via different modes of transportation along Taft Avenue such as buses, shuttles, jeepneys and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 line. It will be also highly accessible to and from prime schools and universities such as De La Salle University, St. Scholastica’s College Manila, Arellano School of Law and U.P. Manila as well as major destinations in the metropolis such as the Makati CBD and SM Mall of Asia, and private hospitals such as Philippine General Hospital and Manila Doctors Hospital .
