Balanced lifestyle at Tribeca

-

MANILA, Philippines –  The celebration continues for Landco Pacific Corporation, as they commemorate two decades of leisure living through the Leisure as a Lifestyle event series. The third leg of the series, held at Tribeca Private Residences was all about achieving work-life balance.

For 20 years, Landco Pacific Corporation has consistently pioneered innovative leisure developments, such as Peninsula de Punta Fuego, Terrazas de Punta Fuego, Hacienda Escudero, Leisure Farms, Ponderosa Leisure Farms, Playa Calatagan, Playa Laiya, Playa Azalea and Tribeca Private Residences to name a few, making true their brand promise, “Life at your Leisure”.

Tribeca Private Residences, a joint venture partnership with ATR Kim EngLand., Inc. is an urban community slanted for those urbanites who want to elevate their way of life at an affordable price. “Landco redefines urban living by creating a delightfully distinct community experience that the city has never seen before, through Tribeca Private Residences. With its impeccable master plan that seamlessly integrates the five residential condominium clusters, complementing amenities highlighted by the Aqua Park, a luxurious swimming pool complex, a 3-hectare Central Park with active and wide open spaces and technology features, it will definitely be Life at your Leisure, in a cosmopolitan environment,” explains Cris Zuluaga, vice president and SBU Head of Urban Communities.

Those who live in Tribeca Private Residences enjoy resort living, right at the heart of the city. Karla Saunar, project head of Tribeca reiterates that residents are currently enjoying the 1800sqm Aqua Park, where parents can let their kids slide and splash in its play area while they stretch out for a massage at massage cottages situated around the park, or simply spend some quality time as they watch the sun go down at the Sunken Deck Area.

At the work-life balance event, Working Mom Magazine’s editor-in-chief Dedet Panabi gave valuable tips on how to tackle work-life balance. According to Dedet, there is really no such thing as time management, but self-management. One should manage goals, values, and interests. If you find yourself overwhelmed or burnt out, then there is a disconnect between where you spend your time and what you care about.

The important points of the talk were: 1) Taking charge of your day: the difference between what is urgent, important and habitual; 2) Taking charge of your life: making your personal “mission statement”. Balance is not about dividing your time equally but making choices that reflect what you care about. The mission statement can change as you grow older, accept different roles; and lastly, 3) Taking charge of your expectations: ditch the guilt and the superman myth! Life is about saying yes to what matters and saying no to what doesn’t.

A special YogaKids workshop was also held wherein certified YogaKids instructor, Michelle Aventajado, taught kids the benefits of yoga through reciting positive affirmations (mantras) crafting, singing, dancing and of course holding asanas (yoga poses). “We did lots of balancing poses on one foot. It was challenging for them but in YogaKids classes I teach the kids that we can achieve balance in our lives, by listening to our hearts, to our inner voice, and to our bodies. Our bodies tell us a lot about how we are feeling and yoga can help us gain control,” adds Michelle.

There were also some fun art activities for kids wherein they were asked to decorate bookmarks and pencils that they can use for school, which gives them a sense of responsibility and at the same time, a sense of fun—a simple way to inject work-life balance to their young lifestyles. Guests also enjoyed spa and aromatherapy treatments—foot reflexology, hand rubs, shoulder and head massages from Spaholics.

The Leisure as a Lifestyle event series was also held at Landco’s premier communities: WoodGrove Park, Hacienda Escudero, and The Peak at Terrazas de Punta Fuego. For inquiries about Tribeca Private Residences please call 842-8000.
