Sandari works in full swing
MANILA, Philippines - The recent blessing and inauguration of the marketing pavilion and the groundbreaking rites of the clubhouse of Sandari Batulao ushered in a spate of activities leading to the construction and development of major infrastructure for the emerging mountainside township community.
By the time the sun nestles once more between the twin peaks of Mounts Batulao and Talamitam in Nasugbu, Batangas about the last week of December – a natural phenomenon that gave the mystic mount its name Batulao – the first phase of the construction for the main road 25 meters long and six lanes wide will have been completed.
Also to be completed by then will be the drainage and sewage systems and sidewalk gutters, said engineer Mariano Hilario, vice president for land development of developer Citystate Properties and Management Corporation.
The launch of the marketing pavilion and the laying down of the time capsule for the Sandari Clubhouse last Nov. 7 had the enthusiastic participation of the townsfolk of Nasugbu, host town of the residential and leisure community, a sure sign that they welcome Sandari Batulao.
Nasugbu’s school teachers, school children playing in a mini music band and the parish church’s choir contributed dance and music numbers to entertain the more than 500 people gathered for the affair. Highlight of the celebration was a thanksgiving mass concelebrated by Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales and Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles.
After the mass, Citystate Properties officials and directors led by Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, chairman, did a ceremonial signing of the blueprint of Sandari Batulao signifying their commitment to mark the development with respect for the natural environment, to enhance the people’s lives and extend support to the community.
Sandari Batulao spans 800 hectares situated at the foothills of the majestic Mounts Batulao and Talamitam. The name Sandari comes from two Sanskrit words “zaan-ta” (peaceful) and “dhari” (valley).
According to the developers, Sandari Batulao is set to be premier mountainside township development where residents and guests “can be intimate with nature and are able to savor a healthy lifestyle.”
For the first phase of Sandari Batulao, Citystate Properties will allot at least 41 hectares of residential lots to constitute the project’s initial offering.
Sandari Batulao is located at Km 77, Barangay Kaylaway, Nasugbu, Batangas, just a 10-minute drive from Metro Tagaytay along the Nasugbu-Tourism Highway, and an hour and a half drive from Makati via the South Luzon Expressway through Santa Rosa.
