MANILA, Philippines - The Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) launches its International Property Show in Macau from October 25 to 26, 2010 at the Venetian Hotel in Macau to be held simultaneous with the 1st CREBA International Convention.
CREBA national president Florentino S. Dulalia, Jr., said that the Fair is envisioned to feature the best in Philippine properties and will welcome the participation of various Overseas Filipino groups in Macau, Hong Kong, and potential investors and key decision-makers from other Asia-Pacific countries where sizable OFW populations exist.
With the fair, CREBA commits to assist Filipino overseas workers locate sound investment options in real estate, either to provide decent and affordable housing for themselves and their families back home, or to present opportunities for investment and second homes.
Dr. Reynaldo A. Carpio, CREBA executive vice-president and overall chairman of the convention, said the anticipated events will include a major housing fair for Overseas Filipinos; sight-seeing and tour of development models which are products of the world’s best practices; and globally-renowned speakers to share new ideas vital in harnessing business opportunities at a truly global perspective.
Editha L. Manansala, president of the CREBA International Foundation, Inc. (CIFI) and prime mover of the Fair, announced that Honorable Renato L. Villapando, consul general of the Philippines in Macau, will grace the opening of the Fair by leading the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, as well as welcoming the guests to the Convention.
According to Manansala, since CIFI was created in 2003, the Foundation has been at the helm of the staging property roadshows, trade exhibits, expos, fiestas, and investment forums abroad in partnership with Filipino community associations, the various Philippine embassies and consulates, the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and the Department of Tourism (DOT), with only reputable developers with proven track-record as part of its delegation.
