Heavy duty wood protection launched by Bayer and Neumann and Mueller Phils

MANILA, Philippines – Give wood its longest life possible. Bayer Philippines Inc, through Newmann and Mueller Philippines Inc.sets the new standard in wood products protection.

Bayer launches Dacrol which provides world proven control from wood infesting insects to fungi and mold-causing organisms.

“Wood is a very important resource and we need to protect it. Dacrol has very potent formulation that minimizes deterioration of wood so its strength, usability and beauty are kept and preserved” says Josefina Duenas, Material Protection Division Manager of Nuemann and Mueller Philippines Inc.

Dacrol comes in three formulations, which addresses specific problems of the timber, furniture, construction and other industries where wood is a major materials component. These include the wood insecticide product Dacrol TM-CE25, wood fungicide Dacrol -F and Dacrol Combi-EC, the powerful combination of the two.

Dacrol TM-CE25 is non-repellant. “Dacrol TM does not just drive away wood-infesting insects like termites, it kills them, before they even know what hit them,” says Duenas. It is also formulated especially for wood so that it penetrates and stays in the wood for long-term protection from wood infesting insects such as drywood and subterranean termites, powder-post beetles and other wood-boring insects.

Dacrol-F is the wood fungicide that will save wood from rotting, blue-staining fungi and various molds. The product is best for wood used outdoors like pool deck, gardens and trellises.

The All-in-one wood protection comes with Dacrol Combi-EC. It has four powerful active ingredients, which makes it very economical. It is actually the only one of its kind. It is a combination product, getting the results from an insecticide, fungicide and mouldicide.

With these three formulations available, wood protection and preservation are available for every stage of the wood, from the freshly sawn to those in production lines, and even for the expertly carved furniture.

Importantly, Duenas adds, Dacrol is environment and user friendly.”The potency of the products’ formulation does not only mean we save our wood, it also means that not a lot of chemical goes to the environment. It is another layer of environment protection. Plus, Dacrol does not have also any known dermal or inhalational irritants.”
