Reaching for forever with Avida

-

MANILA, Philippines - Over the course of 20 years, Avida has transformed close to 682 hectares of idle land into dream communities for Filipino families. To date, Avida has developed about 26,000 house and lot and condominium units that were made available in the market.

And yet, even more Filipino families stand to benefit from Avida’s vision and drive to further grow and expand. In 2010, some 10,500 units will be made available for sale to the market, occupying an additional 102 hectares. Avida will not only continue to expand in South Luzon but will venture into new areas in Visayas and Mindanao.

More than the impressive numbers, Avida is proud of the communities it has developed over the years that brought happiness, security and a lifetime of wonderful memories for thousands of Filipino families.

Avida has 28 residential projects spread all over Luzon, a laudable achievement considering that all these developments began 20 years ago with a mass-housing project in Laguna for Ayala employees. Today, more and more Filipinos have the opportunity to experience residential settings that are designed to bring out life’s joys to the fullest—peaceful, secure, environment-friendly and ecologically sound communities that combine beauty, convenience, accessibility and function.

New Territories, breaking new ground

In 2010, Avida will expand to other growth centers in Metro Manila—Madrigal Business Park in Alabang, Bonifacio Triangle and Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City and Ortigas-Mandaluyong and to South Luzon.

Growth will continue toward the Visayas and Mindanao areas—a two-tower 1000-unit residential condominium in Cebu set to rise in AsiaTown I.T. Park, and a 485-lot/house-and-lot phased development in Iloilo.

Nestled in the suburbs of Calamba, Laguna, is Avida Settings NUVALI. The last phase of this 43-hectare horizontal residential development recently offered for sale its last 500-plus units.

Apart from this, two new developments will rise, also within NUVALI, adding an inventory of 2,400 units.

Existing condominium developments are also expanding with the launch of new towers in Avida Towers San Lorenzo, Makati; Avida Towers New Manila; and Avida Towers Sucat, Paranaque, for a combined total offering of 900 units.

All these will bring Avida’s total available inventory to a new high, offering 10, 500 units in 2010.

Reaching out to new markets

After providing dream homes for the middle-class, Avida is now poised to reach out to the Broad C market, aiming for families with a combined income of P20,000 to P60,000.

In NUVALI, Avida is set to launch a new development that will offer house and lot packages starting at a very affordable P1.4M. This new residential haven was designed along the envoronment-friendly and sustainability thrust of Nuvali, which will allow more families to experience ecologically-sound living at its best. As with other Avida developments, the village will encourage interaction among members of the community through its open spaces, facilities and amenities.

Avida’s new brand, Amaia, will also launch a line of economic housing packages priced from P600,000 to P1.2M in Calamba, Laguna. Amaia will launch innovative house designs and distinctive community concepts all for the benefit of young Filipino families who want to start right in making their dream homes a reality.

Reaching out to Global Pinoys

As more and more Filipinos work overseas, Avida will also be reaching out to them. As early as 1998, Avida opened an international office in Milan to address the needs of OFWs in Europe. A few years later, Avida offices were also opened in Singapore and Dubai.
