DMCI Homes' Ohana Place condominium in Las Piñas opens to new residents

MANILA, Philippines - In the heart of Las Piñas City, prime Modern Polynesian-themed mid-rise condominiums rise to address the living needs of various new residents. As the first project of trusted property developer DMCI Homes located in the south of Metro Manila, Ohana Place is designed to provide an exceptionally welcoming haven to those who wish to experience the utmost in quality urban living.

Ohana, or “family” in Hawaiian, was conceptualized for start-up families and upgraders, even young entrepreneurs and professionals of diverse lifestyles. Three of seven buildings are already finished and ready for occupancy. New owners have already moved-in into their respective units.

At Ohana Place, DMCI Homes is able to manifest its commitment to create community solutions that addresses the market’s need for more enjoyable family bonding and community comradeship. Moreover, energy efficiency in this medium density development is ensured via the single-loaded building design & atriums giving them sufficient natural ventilation and lighting even when inside the building.

DMCI Homes’ commitment to carefully designed communities assures future residents that operations are precise and proceeding as planned. According to Project Development Specialist, Francia Go, construction of the other Ohana Place structures is continuous and ongoing.

“The Honolulu building was completed last August, and the Maui building was completed last October, as scheduled,” she said. “We currently have more occupants in the Honolulu building, since it was finished first. About 80 residents are living there. The usual process is, we turn over the units, and any time after that, the clients or residents can move in.”

The rest of the project will be completed in the coming months, according to Go.

“The Anahola building is ready for occupancy as of February. So we can look forward to people moving in. Lanikai is scheduled for completion by April, while the rest of the buildings will be finished by June, July, and November. By November, everything will be complete.”

Aside from Ohana Place’s construction milestones, the development has not encountered any major disruptions. When devastating Typhoon Ondoy struck, Ohana Place was not affected because it is located on an elevated area. Pumps also addressed increasing water levels. Go emphasized that Ohana Place has these and other unique advantages and characteristics.
