Green talk at Worldbex 2010

-

MANILA, Philippines - In keeping with its goal sharing current global trends affecting the construction industry, the 2010 World Building and Construction Exposition (WORLDBEX) will be bringing in international experts Ken Witherell of the USA; Arch. Tai Lee Siang and Arch. Timothy Wong of Singapore; and Engr. Sipco de Jonge of the Netherlands. All four will talk about sustainable development, keeping in line with this year’s WORLDBEX theme: Constructing the Future Green Communities through Efficient Technologies and Materials.

The Philippine Trade Training Center will be the venue of these talks under the umbrella of the WORLDBEX Seminars. Each day from March 18 to 20 will feature four different speakers who will share their expertise. And for those who don’t want to be left behind on current construction trends and concerns, attending each seminar day is priced at a very affordable P2,000, a bargain when getting reliable information from industry experts contacted by Worldbex Services International (WSI).

“WORLDBEX has become the perfect place for a creative meeting of minds among the local and international shakers and movers in the industry,” says Joseph L. Ang, founding chairman of WSI. He shares that Engr. Sipco de Jonge will be talking about “High Range Koda Blast System,” while Arch. Wong presents his paper on “Sustainability in Mass Housing,” while his compatriot Arch.Tai shares how Singapore’s green city was not built overnight, but painstakingly planned and executed over a 40 year period. Designers looking for window treatment alternatives may want to attend “Solar Shade Fabric & Sustainable Design” by Ken Witherell.

Raffles will be held for expo attendees and exhibitors, with one winner drawn each day from seminar registrants from March 18-20 and five winning exhibitors drawn each day from March 17-21.
