Metaphil gets iso 9001:2000 re-certified

MANILA, Philippines - Metaphil, an Aboitiz company specializing in construction and engineering, is once again recommended by TUV SUD for certification maintenance of the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, with design. 

ISO is proof of the company’s adherence to global quality standards and its commitment to its customers, its workers and its business partners.

“ISO is Metaphil’s commitment to deliver on its promise of construction reliability, integrity, safety and quality,” said chair and CEO Roberto Aboitiz.

“Clearly, Metaphil’s quality systems has improved,” announced TUV SUD lead auditor Cynthia Nuñez in the closing meeting between Metaphil and TUV SUD.

The ISO certification covers the general building and engineering, industrial construction and steel fabrication of its facilities in Cebu. Starting in 2008, the certification includes design.

Established in 1978 with head office in Cebu, Metaphil continually strives to build a solid reputation anchored on excellence and achievement. Metaphil first got its ISO accreditation in 2002.

With over 30 years of construction, engineering and project management services, Metaphil contributes to the country’s industrial growth and providing jobs and good training for its over 2,000 workforce.

On-going projects include the expansion of Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc. shipbuilding facilities in Balamban, Cebu, the construction of Philippine Foremost Milling Corp. warehouse in Iloilo, the 138-kv tie line for VECO in Cebu, several fabrication works for international clients and various works for Aboitiz Power Renewables, Inc. in Makban, Laguna and Tiwi, Albay.
