Avida team beats records

-

MANILA, Philippines - To mark the record sales posted by Avida in 2008, the affordable housing arm of property giant Ayala Land, Inc., recently feted over 500 sales agents throughout Luzon with a grand victory celebration at the Palacio del Gobernardor in Malate, Manila.

Avida president Leo Montenegro thanked the firm’s sales representatives for beating the company’s previous 2007 record by posting P4.8B in sales in 2008. The company also raffled off a brand-new 2008 Honda Civic to a lucky sales agent.

Montenegro confirmed that Avida has become the brand to beat in the affordable segment. During periods of slow economic activity, strong brands like Avida tend to become even more attractive to customers, he said as he encouraged the enthusiastic work force to build on gains of the previous year.

Ayala Land senior vice-president Rex Mendoza encouraged the sales team that turned out full force to continue to uphold the company’s core values of: commitment, optimism, proactivity, team work and victory. The company further rallied its sales team to turn in an excellent performance in the coming months by offering various sales promotions and an array of attractive raffle prizes for its buyers.

Avida is outdoing itself in 2009 by raffling off trips within the Asia Pacific region to both its buyers and sellers. According to Tess Tatco, marketing manager, the company is offering the trips to customers and partners “simply because they honor us by choosing the Avida brand.” The 2008 Honda Civic, which was raffled off among agents who booked sales in 2008, was won by Cynthia delas Alas from Naga City.
