Charm of Coralia

Bali is an island of outstanding beauty, with its terraced rice paddies, soaring volcanoes, and lush, tropical forests. But what makes Bali that amazing resort destination to countless tourists is its white, sandy beaches caressed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean while towering palms sway in the breeze. To many, going to a paradise such as Bali is a luxury.

And while there are a number of alternatives to a resort lifestyle, why not consider the allure of experiencing your dreams in nearby Metro Sta. Rosa, at Bali Mansions in South Forbes Golf City, where your own home can be that place to rejuvenate your soul.

Coralia, one of four model mansions, was envisioned to exude a tropical Asian look. Earth tones of beige, brown and gray were used to convey the resort atmosphere, while tropical colors of red, green, and orange were added to liven up the interiors. White tones also provided a strong contrast to the dark wood finishes.

From the outside, one can already feel the Balinese influence with detailed wood carvings adorning the balcony. With full-height windows, a three-car garage, large lanai, and a pond, there is no mistaking that the Coralia is no ordinary house.

As one enters, an overwhelming sensation of space is emphasized with the high ceiling of the living area. A lot of natural materials were used — from the center table to the fabrics of the comfortable 4-seater sofa and curtains. Large pillows in brown, beige, and green enhance the sofa, all laced with tassels for a distinctive Asian feel.

A Balinese banquet theme is carried over to the dining area with the dark wood furniture and classy fabric over the chairs. The dining experience is made even more special with ceramic leaf plates and aromatic candles.

An abaca-lined flight of stairs lead visitors to the bedrooms upstairs. The boys’ bedroom to the left is made to appear larger with a fully-mirrored wall on one side. A long headboard in white leatherette blends well with the light brown and white motif. The girl’s room, on the other hand, comes in relaxing tones of fuchsia and light green. A square quilted duvet for the beddings is made especially for a princess. Two wooden artworks hung against an upholstered headboard frame the bed.

The icing on the cake in the Coralia is the master’s bedroom done in red. The four-poster bed, with its golden red and beige pillows, hints of royalty. On each side of the bed are his-and-hers vanities accented with Artemis lamps to match with two lavatories in the bathroom for a touch of luxury.

The Coralia, ultimately, is much more than a house.
