Greenfield Development Corporations continued creation of competitive, master-planned communities has emphasized a focus on strength, practicality, and long-term value. These traits are inherent in all GDC endeavors, which encompass different developments that make it one of the countrys most trusted property developers. Its Laguna-based Greenfield City is a prime example of its various growing business, recreational and residential zones in one exceptional location.
Greenfield Citys Paseo De Santa Rosa is fast becoming known as an outlet center that continuoulsly attracts nearby and Metro Manila residents who wish to purchase high-quality sporting goods and lifestyle accessories at bargain prices. It is also known as an intimate and cozy town center, as its prior structures Paseo 1 and 2 were designed with accessibility, space utilization and unique aesthetic features in mind. That attention to detail and balance is replicated on the newly-launched Paseo 3, the latest establishment in the area that was designed by RRPayumo+Partners and Architects group.
The esteemed architectural firm, tapped to work on the related project again has lent its considerable planning, programming, designing and coordinating capabilities to conjure up a sound and attractive structure. Its successful partnerships with foreign firms in the last 25 years are a testament to the companys hard work and reliability. The firm has garnered impressive credentials through the years and is among the most reputable ones that are known for diversity and versatility, as exemplified by its numerous commercial, industrial, residential and institutional works.
It was a different challenge, according to Architect Ruben R. Payumo, to make this new building enhance and connect with the existing ones. "It was a challenging experience. We had to go through the process of brainstorming ideas. The way we designed it was to present ideas to link it up with the old one and how it will complement the other developments like future movie houses, entertainment facilities, among others. Designing it was tricky, with the absence of visual contact to vehicular traffic. So, we asked a lot of questions. We wanted Paseo 3 to have its own character to attract new locators as well as returning customers for all locators."
Payumo recalled that when the original Paseo De Santa Rosa complexes were designed, huge structures were few but they faced the street and were very visible to passersby. "It was interesting to note when we began designing Paseo De Santa Rosa, that it was not hard to notice the tremendous land available. So, we asked Greenfield Development Corporation what they intended to do with the land. Just to get a feel of what the future holds for Paseo De Santa Rosa. We also wanted to steer away from the typical mall. We wanted to offer a more pleasant shopping experience an arcade with a great atmosphere."
He expounded that there were changes with their approach to Paseo 3: "Its very, very different. The design of the new Paseo 3 had to go through with a lot of exchange of ideas as we try to figure out what to do and how to achieve the unique look for this project. The goal was for Paseo 3 to have the heart and life of its own that will evolve by itself. So, we had to have something like a Promenade that leads to the existing walkway going to the old establishment, to create a seamless connection between the two developments, making it as one. We also had to experience the vibrant nightlife at Paseo De Santa Rosa to be able to link it up with Paseo 3. We want to enhance what is already there and explore that. Hopefully, it grows from there."
Payumo is confident that Paseo De Santa Rosa will continue to attract a broader clientele in many years to come. He believes that the town complex is a unique, quaint place to experience, mainly because of the clean, worry-free environment thats very conducive to outdoor dining and relaxation. He commended GDC for the smooth working relationship over Paseo 3. "There were a lot dialogues and presentations. I must say it was a healthy, professional dialogue between us and Greenfield Development Corporation. They were open-minded and easy to work with because they listen to your concept and ideas."
