Early summer at Anvaya Cove
December 1, 2006 | 12:00am
Families from Metro Manila and all points in Luzon flocked to the Sunday Open House of Ayala Land Premiers first leisure development in Morong, Bataan, to experience a preview of endless summers to come and to get a glimpse of what the idyllic 320-hectare seaside community has to offer.
With the early morning sunshining on white tents, soft Bossanova music playing in the background and Anvaya Cove sellers wearing quaint straw hats greeting them, the more than 300 guests immediately felt a warm asian tropical welcome.
Guests easily found themselves at the view deck of Anvaya Coves Marketing Pavilion, marveling at the majestic views of the sea and mountain. It was effortless for them to envision the rise of a captivating community that will be spread across the rolling hills, and imagine endless days of frolicking in the fine sand of Anvayas 3.5-kilometer coastline. Families were greeted by the unfolding of the development. With its all-natural look readily apparent in the mix of grass and floral placements situated at the entrance driveway and along the roads leading to the Pavilion.
Guests marveled at the rich and unspoiled flora and fauna across Anvaya Coves rolling terrain, preserved and protected by Ayala Land, the countrys largest property developer, whose ultimate goal is to create a summer sanctuary for both man and nature. Already the pawikan or giant sea turtles call Anvayas beaches their home, while indigenous birds flitter among the trees.
The open house began with an intimate mass, officiated by Father Vir Pedregoza, where the singsong rattle of branches and the pleasantly warm sunny weather offered a serene backdrop to the religious affair.
Guests were then treated to a lavish outdoor barbecue, where a mix of Asian tropical cuisine titillated their palates as they enjoyed their meal under the white pagoda tents or amidst the trees. Even the table place settings were garnished with ripe mangoes, giving a feel of the Mango Grove, Anvaya Coves second neighborhood offering.
All the members of the family experienced a guided sales tour of the Anvaya Cove scale models which acquainted them with the developments components such as Beach and Nature Club, as well as the planned communities: The Cliffside, The Mango Grove and Wood Park.
An array of exciting prizes was raffled off courtesy of Innove Communications. And, as highlight of the event, the first lot reservation, Spouses Lorenzo Martin & Maria Cristina Castro received a Sony Ericsson phone on that day.
Organized by Ayala Land Premier, the open house was intended to allow guests to experience the "Family Time, Endless Summer theme" espoused by the development.
