Make your home a masterpiece

Art is one of the greatest forms of expression.
Think about brushes, charcoal and pastel and you can almost see magnificently blended colors and images. That is the spirit of art.
Can the same spirit be found in your good old house paint?
Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc., the leading paint manufacturer in the Philippines, makes it possible with its collaboration with Metrobank Foundation Inc.
Metrobank Foundation is a leader in advocating corporate social responsibility in the country, and through the years, Boysen has strongly been supporting one of its flagship projects: the College Scholarship Program.
Recently, Boysen gave its full support to the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) competition. This project was part of Metrobank Foundations pursuit to make an enduring contribution to the arts by providing young Filipino artists the means and the incentive to hone their talents in various visual art forms.
"Paint is obviously a vital tool for artists in creating works that bring their passions to life," says Willy Ong, president of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines. "We want people to think of their walls at home just as artists think of their canvases, that they can transform their homes into their own individual piece of art when they use our paint."
This years MADE competition honored outstanding artists in the field of painting, sculpture, architecture and interior design. MADEs grand prize winners for interior design and architecture, Jasmine Oyek for her "Haybol" and Architect Michael Peña for his "Modern Filipino House" are both Boysen supporters themselves. In fact, Boysen shared the triumph of Peña as the celebrated architect used Boysen in his work of art.
