HK Sun Plaza to open

Filipinos will soon get to see and experience first hand what can be considered as "The Largest Home Depot and Lifestyle Center "in the country today.

HK Sun Plaza, set to partly open this November, has an unparalleled 6.4 -hectare floor area that extends from Roxas Boulevard to Macapagal Ave., considered as the only space- framed structure in the Philippines.

It is located in a strategic and fast developing area, surrounded by establishments such as the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Cuneta Astrodome, National Statistics Office (NSO) Pasay Branch, Philippine World Trade Center, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Philippine National Bank (PNB) and other well-known establishments.

Aside from this, a total of sixteen buildings will also be built beside the Libertad Channel, making the area surrounding HK Sun Plaza both a residential and commercial one.

Because of its unparalleled floor area, HK Sun Plaza will be able to offer more than 1,000 parking spaces for its customers and tenants. Twenty-four hour security is also provided for the safety of everyone. Six entrances will be allocated evenly around the four sides of the mall. The interior of the lifestyle center will be composed of a variety of product and service providers that will cater to the needs of its customers.

The sides facing Roxas Boulevard and Macapagal Ave. will be lined with fast food establishments and fine dining restaurants that offer international cuisine. A garden landscape will surround the mall in order to create a serene ambiance for diners especially during the final hours of sunset.

Eighty percent of the total area allotted for food establishments has already been leased out. A number of the country’s famous restaurants and fast food chains like Max’s Restaurant, Jollibee, and Chowking are among the first food establishments which opened in the mall.

The inner part of the mall will primarily consist of the do-it-yourself (DIY) center, which will occupy a total of 0.5 hectares and the home depot, furniture and appliance centers, and other specialty stores, with an area of three hectares.

The remaining 2.5 hectares has limited slots available for interested tenants. HK Sun Plaza owners conceptualized this idea with the mission of being the largest seller of a wide array of products that will be needed to furnish residential and commercial areas alike.

Situated in a strategic area, the home depot will be able to offer its customers the convenience of one-stop shopping for everything they need for their homes, offices, or business. It will be the ideal place to go to in order to build and furnish their dream house, office, and business.

Business establishments that sell furniture, construction materials, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, home furnishings, cellular phones, computer parts and rentals, other telecommunication networks and energy-saving lights will also be part of the said venture.

People will have the convenience of choosing products that will suit their needs, considering factors such as quality, quantity, style, and price. The home depot area is already 70 percent leased out, with only a few slots left.

The Do-It-Yourself Center inside HK Sun Plaza will be managed and operated by CW Manila Bay Development Corporation, the same group that brought you Ortigas and Alabang Home Depot in Metro Manila.

It is a joint venture between the Cebu Overseas Hardware Co. Inc. (Cohci) and West Point Industrial Sales Co. Inc. They have extensive experience in supplying hardware, construction and interior requirements.

Commercial spaces are still available at HKSP. For inquiries, call 832-2899, 832-8899 and 834-8899, email hksp2004@yahoo.com or log on to www.hksunplaza.com.
