Intimate brushes with nature

A community that allows its residents to live close to wooded areas, the soothing sounds of a brook and other natural amenities and while enjoying intimate ties with one another is the vision behind Wood Park the newest neighborhood in Anvaya Cove. Anvaya Cove is Ayala Land Premiers 1st leisure seaside development located in Morong, Bataan.
The seven-hectare neighborhood which has an elevation ranging from 50 to 70 meters is also dotted with parkia javanica or cupang trees. It is a short drive away from Ilingin Cove and the amenities of the Anvaya Beach and Nature Club. "Wood Park has been designed as a nature retreat where one can enjoy a hilly environment and at the same time have quick access to beach and sea amenities," according to Bong Gonzales, project development manager.
Wood Park is one of several neighborhoods in Anvaya Cove each with its own distinct features. Set in a lush, open area, this neighborhood of only 94 lots which has a brook running through the property also has glimpses of the sea and sunset.
The Brookside lots run parallel to the brook lined by mature trees and shrubs. A bridge crossing the brook provides a sweeping view of the area. On the southern part of the neighborhood are the Greenview lots which offer a vista of lush open spaces in undulating terrain. The Leisure lots provide homeowners a sunset view.
To further enhance the neighborhoods courtside view of the fading, afternoon sun, planners of Wood Park will build a Sunset Park at the heart of the neighborhood. Wood Parks Sunset Drive will naturally offer motorists and promenaders glimpses of the sea and the natural finale of many Anvaya afternoons.
Like the rest of the Anvaya neighborhoods, Wood Park will be a fenceless community. Homeowners will be strongly discouraged from erecting the usual cement fences that traditionally border ones property line and dampen social interaction among neighbors. "We want Wood Park and the other Anvaya neighborhoods to be a departure from the usual developments where people just come and go without bothering to know one another."
The smaller lot cuts, which range from 400 to 561 sqm, bring the homeowners physically closer to one another and give Wood Park its distinct, cozy charm. The natural appeal of the place will likewise encourage residents to spend most of their time outdoors.
Wood Park is located at the southeast portion of Anvaya Cove, near the main gate. It will have its own gate to maintain the exclusivity and security of the neighborhood, while providing residents and their visitors "a sense of belonging" in a unique but fenceless community, says Gonzales.
Turnover of lots in Wood Park is set on the first quarter of 2008.
Aside from Wood Park, Anvaya Cove is ready to turnover lots to homeowners at the Cliffside, the first neighborhood in the sprawling leisure community. Anvaya Coves most prime product The Seaside Villas is under construction.
