South Forbes gets P1B more

South Forbes Golf City will get another P1 billion in investment from its developer due to the high demand for its world-class themed communities.
"We are allocating P1 billion for the development of our fifth themed project within South Forbes, Châteaux de Paris. We believe its royal and regal residences, inspired by French architecture, are directly in line with our overall vision for South Forbes and will complement our existing projects that have been enthusiastically received by the market," according to Cathay Land President Jeffrey Ng.
Three model chateaus will wow homebuyers: the classical Chambord, the modern Fontainebleau, and the contemporary Chantilly. All are named after famous royal chateaus in France. The clubhouse, located at the far center end of the property, will be the grandest structure in the high-end village. It seems to float in a moat, as inspired by French castles, and also features a grand ballroom.
A significant amount of the investment will go into land development for the 500 lots of this 25-hectare village. Lot sizes average from 300 to 400 sq.m., whereas house and lot packages average P10 million.
One of the main features that will distinguish Châteaux de Paris is its landscaping. "The main inspiration for this, of course, is the intricate landscaping of the City of Lights," Ng shared. The landscaping for the entire project reinterprets 18th century French garden design traditions during the reign of King Louis XIV. Gardens during his time were often characterized by grandeur, built to impress and showcase a high degree of wealth and power.
As such, French allée or alleys bordered by trees or clipped hedges adorn the entire project. Allees intersect in acute angles and if viewed from above resemble a goose-foot. The allees, along with the canals and reflecting pools, not only lend a strong visual effect but also make it easy for residents to go to the nearest pocket park or even the clubhouse for relaxation.
"We will invest in only the best trees, shrubs, and colorful flowering plants to make sure Châteaux de Paris maintains a high visual effect on residents and their guests. We are going for the highest level of quality," promised Ng.
Aside from its new project, South Forbes offers four other top choices for homeowners: charming homes at South Forbes Mediterranean Villas, resort living at Bali Mansions, Zen sanctuaries at Tokyo Mansions, and Golf View Terraces, which gives residents magnificent views of the fairways.
