May 27, 2006 | 12:00am
Energy-saving home developer Empire East Suntrust (Empire East Properties, Inc.) will hold an open house for its Governor's Hills and Sta. Rosa Heights projects from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on November 6 and 27, respectively.
Available for viewing at Governor's Hills in Gen. Trias, Cavite are the model homes of its newest residential phase, Greensboro.
Ashley is a two-story, two-bedroom house with a floor area of 62 square meters and a lot area of 77 square meters. Chelsea I, on the other hand, is a two-story, two-bedroom home featuring a generous floor area of 123 square meters and a lot area of 154 square meters. Chelsea II, like the Chelsea I, stands on a lot area of 154 square meters. Its slightly smaller floor area of 115.5 square meters features two floors, four bedrooms and a cathedral ceiling.
The Ashley and Chelsea II model homes are set in front of the upcoming Governor's Hills Science School. The school will initially enroll preschool and Grade 1 students.
Greensboro will feature Hampstead Gardens, a beautifully landscaped 1,078-square-meter private park exclusive to its residents. It hosts jogging paths, wooden benches, a central water fountain and lush gardens. Within the Governor's Hills community are other first-class recreational amenities including a gazebo, basketball court and an upcoming swimming pool and a 16.6-hectare commercial center.
Meanwhile, Sta. Rosa Heights, situated along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay National Road showcases five Spanish-themed enclaves: Villa del Santa Rosa (Phase 1), Andalucia del Santa Rosa (Phases 2 and 3), Sierra del Santa Rosa (Phase 4) and Jardin del Santa Rosa (Phase 5). Each phase offers Blanca duplex and Helina triplex homes as well as residential lots from 66 square meters up.
Sta. Rosa Heights' 20,030-square-meter clubhouse, dubbed Vista del Santa Rosa, sits next to a lagoon-type swimming pool, basketball court, Zen garden and landscaped areas with cascading water and rock formations. There are also jogging lanes, a children's playground, 20-meter-wide avenues, a commercial center and village shops for each of the community's five phases.
The homes at Governor's Hills and Sta. Rosa Heights Empire East Suntrust use roofs with built-in insulation and concrete-and-steel wall panels with an insulating polystyrene layer that keep the heat out. With less heat, homeowners use less electricity-allowing them to save on energy and money.
