Real estate brokers’ exam set

The Department of Trade and Industry through the Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection has scheduled another licensure examination for real estate brokers on November 27, 2005. Successful examinees will qualify for licensing as real estate brokers.

In this regards, URBAN Institute of Real Estate released today the schedule of its incoming Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar (CRES) and review that should be taken for a complete preparation for the DTI-supervised broker’s licensure examination.

The Tuesday Section is scheduled on Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 7 and 15, while the Thursday Section would be on Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3 and 10 and the Saturday Section would be on Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5 and 12 all with same time of 1:15 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday Section would be held at the Max’s Restaurant, Glorietta 2, Park Square Drive corner Theater Drive, Ayala Center, Makati City while the Thursday Section would be held at Max’s Restaurant, Second Level, Gateway Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.

The CRES will cover the following topics: DTI Rules and Regulations, Real Esate Finance, Eco. & Accounting, National Code of Ethics, Subdivision Development, Problems on Subd., Development, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Assessment, Real Estate Taxation, Taxation, Problem Solving w/E-VAT, Site Verification and Survey, Legal Aspects of Sale, Mortgage and Lease, Fundamentals of Property Ownership, Guide on PAG-IBIG Houing Loans, CARL with RA 7279 (UDHA), HLURB Rules w/Ecology and Zoning, Condominium Concepts, Documentation and Registration, and Real Estate Brokerage Practice.

Atty. Dennis Tablizo, a recognized legal expert on land laws and Engr. Enrico S. Cruz, the same team that produced a record passing rate of 92 percent, will lead experts and authorities in their respective field on the lectures on subjects prescribed by DTI. Engr. Cruz, a licensed real estate consultant was 1st & 8th placer in the realty appraisers and brokers board exams respectively. He was recognized as a Real Estate Fellow by the Philippine Council of Real Estate Educators.
