DMCI Homes’ newest masterpieces

-
DMCI Homes attempts to capture the grandeur of the Manila of old and the breathtaking beauty of resort-type homes defined by the bounty and contour of nature, with the development of two of its upcoming projects in a strategic move to secure its leading position in the mid-income housing market.

Construction giant D.M. Consunji Inc. has announced that it will be building soon for DMCI Homes, its real estate business arm, Mahogany Place in Taguig right across the The Fort Global City and Woodland Hills in Carmona in the historic and scenic province of Cavite.

DMCI Homes managing director Alfredo Austria says the two developments reflect the company’s extension of its home-building expertise from upscale, medium-rise condominiums to exclusive house and lot/subdivision developments with resort-type amenities.

Mahogany Place, Austria explains, will rise in the fast-booming city of Taguig, less than a kilometer away from C-5 and with its own direct access to the superhighway. Right across The Fort Global City and near Forbes Park and Dasmariñas Village, Mahogany Place, being a house and lot development, offers a tempting alternative to homebuyers who are considering high-rise residential units within the same prized location.

Perhaps the last subdivision development within the vicinity of The Fort, Mahogany Place, according to Austria, will be one of the residential properties in the area that could command a high price based on its proximity to Makati and Ortigas.

With Mahogany Place, Austria adds the DMCI Homes envisions "a community that brings back the grandeur of the old Manila that we knew but without a high price tag. For only a little over P6 million, homebuyers may already own a house and lot at Mahogany Place."

To be built like a Southern California home, the houses at Mahogany Place are both grand and practical. Efficiently designed to look like a single stately manor on the outside, its practical floor management inside indicates a smart plan that allocates two private dwellings for a maximum occupancy rate of at least two families of four. With four carports, two on each end of a house, verandas on the master bedrooms and ample garden space at the back, the houses are comfortable enough for families to grow in.

"Coupled with the subdivision’s great location and development features of tree-lined streets, manicured lawns, gardens with gazebo, swimming pools, a grand clubhouse and a covered basketball court that doubles as a ballroom, owning a home at Mahogany Place may yet be one of the smartest real estate acquisitions to make," Austria says.

Woodland Hills, on the other hand, is a community designed to maximize the natural advantages of its location. Situated in the panoramic expanse of Carmona, Cavite, Woodland Hills, according to Austria, "enjoys a view of the Laguna de Bay on its eastern border and Tagaytay’s cool climate. It is an exclusive nine-hectare development that markets vacation-type homes as first homes."

Nestled along Governor’s Drive in the boundaries separating Carmona from Tagaytay City, the property enjoys the proximity of Alabang and its commercial centers but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Woodland Hills is easily accessible from the SLEX via Southwoods and Carmona exits. On a regular day, you can reach Woodland Hills from Makati in 45 minutes. Near the development are theme parks such as the Enchanted Kingdom and Splash Island; Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club, the San Lazaro Leisure Park and the Carmona Circuit Philippines.

"To complement this ideal setting," says Austria, "Woodland Hills is master-planned to contain development features that highlight the bounty and contour of the land. Nature trails, bird sanctuaries, herb and rose gardens are just some of the surprises you will find in the property. As well as a grand clubhouse with a view deck on the second floor that looks out to scenic Laguna de Bay, provisions for swimming, basketball, badminton and jogging are also integrated to fully capitalize on this relaxing ambience peculiar to the property."

The development offers two-story single attached houses and one–story, three-bedroom homes.
