Up-and-coming luxury landmark in Fort Bonifacio

Megaworld Corporationís McKinley Hill Village is a master-planned development envisioned to breathe new life to the burgeoning landscape of Fort Bonifacio.

McKinley Hill Village is the first residential phase of McKinley Hill, a 50-hectare, upscale development of Megaworld near Forbes Park and the Manila Golf and Country Club. It has all the makings of a landmark of scenic beauty and cosmopolitan luxury.

The village is nestled on a gently sloping hill, and visible from its entrance along C-5 Road are four brand-new model houses. From a Lisbon-inspired contemporary mansion to a Seville-themed patrician casa, a Lyons-style modern maison and an estate house with a South California flavor, these showcases of luxury and style are designed to give prospective residential lot buyers a preview of the projectís privileged lifestyle.

Work on the project, which was launched in May 2004, is proceeding at a brisk pace. McKinley Hill Village is 53.5 percent complete, and its main avenueóthe two-kilometer, 22-meter-wide Upper McKinley Roadóis substantially finished.

Upper McKinley Road will connect to the existing McKinley Road to take homeowners straight to the heart of the Makati business district. The tree-shaded avenue will also link up with Lawton Road to bring other key urban points such as the NAIA and Ortigas Center within easy reach.

The projectís prime residential lots come with an average size of 238 square meters. With 33 percent of the development set aside for trees, shrubs and plants as well as wide, open space, McKinley Hill Village offers a modern lifestyle in a nature-rich setting.

A focal point of the village is an exclusive leisure area near the gated entrance. A perfect weekend recreation spot is a Tuscan-themed clubhouse, with its arched doorways, vivid murals and trellised courtyard. Surrounding it are first-rate amenities such as a combination free-form and lap pool, pool lounge, gym, spa and childrenís playground.

Other scenic attractions are a botanical garden just outside the gates and a one-hectare nature park within the village.

In the pipeline for McKinley Hill are a town center with proposed office buildings, a gas station and a commercial hub. The entire McKinley Hill complex has expanded to 50 hectares after Megaworld earned the right to develop another 16-hectare property in Fort Bonifacio. It will host an educational and institutional center for a number of international schools aside from parks, churches and sports plazas.
