Worldbex gathered a record-breaking 808 exhibitors from over 20 countries to its biggest exposition last March 16 to 20 at the tri-venues of World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM), the Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City, and the air-conditioned tent located at the east parking of WTCMM.
Keynoting the event was Senate President Franklin Drilon who lauded the construction industry for notching the highest multiplier effect in the economy and for employing more than 18 million workers nationwide. He commended Worldbex Services International for bringing together in a single event the best minds and best products of the Philippine construction industry.
Together with Senator Drilon, Trade and Industry Secretary Juan Santos, Cong. Eduardo Zialcita, Arch. Francisco Mañosa and WSI founding chairman Joseph Ang formally opened the five-day event.
Trade professionals particularly architects, interior designers and engineers took advantage of the first-ever free offering of Worldbex seminars where experts around the world shared the latest trends and technological advancements in the building and construction industry.
"Its our hope that Worldbex delegates will not only be informed but also be challenged and inspired to take more roles in the industry," Ang affirmed.
Enriching the visual palette of guests with a showcase of their best works in their respective galleries were renowned architects and ten of the most-sought after interior designers in the country.
