Cebu City hosts real estate talks

For a knowledgeable investor, real estate investing is one investment area that yields many opportunities and long financial security. However, because of the broad, diverse and changing intricacies and techniques of real estate, many newcomers suffer business failure.
To provide helpful guidelines to the benefits of beginning and prospective real estate investors, dealers, developers and realty professionals, a seminar on "Investing In Real Estate" will be conducted by Urban Institute of Real Estate on April 7, 1:30 to 6:00 p.m., at the Century Plaza Hotel, Century Plaza Commercial Complex, Juana Osmena St., Cebu City.
The four-hour lecture will cover the following topics: review of the different investment motivations; why invest in real estate; pitfalls and traps in real estate investment; why real estate appreciates; pros and cons of investing in vacant land; different areas of opportunities, techniques and how tos in real estate investment such as buy and sell or lease; build and sell; rehabilitation of foreclosed and damaged properties; master leasing; converting apartments to townhouses or condominiums; developing vacant/raw lands; and an overview of the need-to-learn knowledge before investing.
The other topics which may be attended separately on the same time and venue are as follows: April 8 - Property Development and HLURB Rules and Regulations; April 9 - Joint Ventures and Syndications for Real Estate Projects; April 11 - Property Management and Real Estate Appraisal; April 12 How to start and manage a successful Real Estate Brokerage company.
Lecturer is Engr. Enrico S. Cruz, a licensed real estate consultant, broker and appraiser and real estate fellow, who has more than three decades of working experience in engineering, construction, education and real estate development. He is also available for real estate consultations during his stay in Cebu City.
