Heritage Parks vision of a serene and beautiful memorial park is embodied in its most prominent structure: the Mortuary. The ultra-modern, state-of-the-art building was especially designed to provide comfort and peace for the bereaved.
The entrance to Heritage Parks Funeral Home is reminiscent of the reception area of a classy resort. In fact, not a few visitors have remarked that the amenities of the building were like those found in a hotel. The 3,200-square-meter facility features a harmonious design of Filipino materials, stylish architecture, and cozy interiors that convey an atmosphere of serenity and warmth a much needed comfort for the family who has just lost a loved one.
"Its never a fun or enjoyable experience when a family member passes away, but we try to make the experience less painful as possible," said Jack Kidwiler, CEO of Rosehills Memorial Management Philippines Inc., the company running Heritage Park.
The single-floor facility houses 10 spacious fully air-conditioned chapels with stained-glass windows, a private, two-chamber crematorium with a viewing area, a supervised childrens area, private patios, several family rooms, a viewing room, a coffee shop and an indoor fountain, a private crematorium with a viewing area, private patios, a supervised childrens area, family rooms with room service catering, and a coffee shop.
The chapels are roomy with lacquered wood finish flooring. The walls and ceilings have intricate bamboo patterns and several unobtrusive pin lights that illuminate the rooms. Each chapel has an elegant family room providing the plush comfort of home: amenities such as a living room, dining room, bathroom, refrigerator, cable TV, and a large sofa with cushions. Outside the chapel is a wide patio with chairs and tables where family members can take in some fresh air; beyond is a landscaped garden with a small pond, a wooden bridge and a childrens playground where the kids can be themselves. Guests can also dine and sample the quality brews at the coffee shop, which is operated by Seattles Best.
The chapels have walls that can be folded into the supporting columns so that they can be converted into a larger chapel to accommodate more people. However, to maintain an atmosphere of tranquility, no more than two services are held at a time, guaranteeing the solemnity of the wake.
Indeed, Heritage Parks serene and elegant ambiance is the best place for families to spend quality time together while remembering loved ones who have passed away.
