The Rockwell experience

Nothing can be more invigorating than spending a relaxing weekend in an atmosphere filled with the service and care of a five-star resort, where all the basic needs of a leisurely lifestyle is within reach and where safety and security is of utmost importance. To this writers knowledge no such place existed until the opportunity to experience it all, first hand, at a place called Rockwell Center was given.
As you know, Rockwell is an upscale property development that promotes the pleasure of a sophisticated lifestyle. But unless you dare to look into the world of a Rockwell resident, you wont have any idea of the kind of lifestyle that Rockwell offers.
Luna Gardens, one of Rockwells five residential projects sitting on a 15.5-hectare site formerly home to a Meralco power plant, is the place I called "home" for a two-day and one-night respite from the bustling city life. Upon entering the Luna Garden lobby, I was immediately impressed with the courteous and friendly staff.
I experienced what it is to be "royalty" in a 250 sqm., three-bedroom, handsomely furnished unit with an endless supply of baskets of fresh fruits and chocolates. The panoramic view of Rockwell Clubs pristine pool, tropical foliage and fauna was no less than amazing. Windows surrounding the living and dining rooms allow residents a full view of the world outside. Everything was filled with an air of coziness.
I particularly enjoyed the laidback atmosphere of Rockwell. Residents have everything they need within the 15.5-hectares of Rockwell. "Its like a satellite city," one resident told me. Indeed, living in Rockwell not only allows residents to enjoy a modern home, but also a self-contained community where great shopping, entertainment and leisure are at its best.
Residents need not hit the streets or the gas pedal to shop at the world-class Power Plant Mall. Residents literally refer to Power Plant as "right next door" since an access tunnel connects the condominiums to the mall. Power Plant carries everything from clothes to books to appliances to cinema to restaurants and cafes. It even has one of the foremost bowling centers in the country today.
The Rockwell Club boasts of a well-equipped gym, dance studio, spa and salon. Residents have the option to have a massage at the spa or within the confines of their very own unit. Excellent cuisine offered by fine dining restaurants located in the club adds much comfort and warmth to the clubs modern look and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You can even learn belly dancing under the guidance of a professional dancer thats the big wow of The Rockwell Club.
Rockwell Center also has a highly skilled security team that periodically patrols the area, mans several outposts and enforces traffic rules strictly. One pedestrian was overheard saying that when crossing through Makatis main thoroughfares, people stop for cars, whereas in Rockwell cars stop for people.
There are several reasons why I like this place: Most of my time is spent on what I want to do, not on waiting in endless traffic queues and gridlocks. Its located in the Metros business center, but is hidden away from the noise of the streets and crowds of people and its atmosphere is perfect for relaxation during or after a hard days work. This place is a real find for urbanites and for those who realize that the values of a sophisticated lifestyle come and go, but the values of convenience, safety, and comfort stay the same.
