As the innovative real estate maverick specializing in high-end, master-planned residential communities with distinct themes, Brittany Corp. sets a new precedent, this time with the groundbreaking for its Courtyard homes at Portofino.
An upscale, Italian-themed, residential and commercial enclave, Portofino is just a few minutes away from the Alabang business center, along the Las Piñas-Muntinlupa-Laguna-Cavite Link Road. The original Portofino, a lovely seaport town in southern Italy with rolling, hilly terrain, a river and plenty of trees, is Brittanys inspiration for the multi-phase development project.
Building on the success of the developments first four phases called Portofino Heights, where all lots sold out in less than a year, Brittany is now offering a limited number of Courtyard residences at Portofino, meant for living a comfortable, elegant life in the countrys first homes to be designed around courtyards.
Portofinos courtyard homes are a one-of-a-kind application of the "courtyard-within-a-courtyard" concept, an ingenious design exclusive to Brittany. The concept features all models having its own courtyard, while being part of a cluster of homes configured within a bigger, central, landscaped courtyard. The open space of each homes courtyard, between 20 to 30 sq.m. in size, freely admits daylight while providing natural cooling. Brittanys courtyard concept is about bringing the outdoors, indoors.
Other distinctive elements of the courtyard homes are porticos, arches resting on columns that frame the hallways opening out onto each inner courtyard. Some units boast casitas, charming rooms on the ground level set apart from the main household, for staying guests. Details further enhancing the Courtyard homes are rounded balconies, high ceilings and majestic cupolas. These homes, with gardens, fountains, benches and cobblestone streets, express mans relationship with art and nature.
In line with Brittanys guidelines to maintain the coherence of each communitys look and feel, the Courtyards of Portofino offer four models named after European masters:
Cezanne, with a floor area of 193 sq. m., has a masters bedroom with a balcony, and a walk-in closet separating the bedroom from the toilet and bath.
Monet, with bigger space, has a floor area of 233 sq. m. The house includes a casita on the ground floor and provisions for a family area on the third floor.
Raphael, with a floor area of 249 sq. m., is a four-bedroom home with a family area on the third floor. Its courtyard connects to a lanai.
Rembrandt, the most spacious model, has a floor area of 260 sq. m. The residence is accented with a trellis on the side of the "Balcon Arrandi" (rounded balcony) out in front. Inside, the staircase overlooks a cathedral-type window.
Like other Brittany offerings, the courtyard residences are meant for families with cultivated tastes who dream of a distinctive Mediterranean-style home. Brittany is making those dreams a reality at Portofino, a truly a "fine gateway" for those who want home for the fine quality of life they deserve.
Selling prices range from P8.6 million to P15 million for home and lot packages. Previews of the Courtyards of Portofino may be arranged by calling tel. numbers 850-2868 and 850-6986.
