June 5, 2004 | 12:00am
Leisure Farms, the Philippines first residential and hobby-farming community, is set to commence construction of its long-awaited clubhouse this June.
The main feature of the developments social and recreational facilities, the clubhouse is designed by international design firm HBO+EMTB, who also designed the projects Village Store.
The 284 sqm clubhouse features function rooms to accommodate 100 pax for special events and occasions. Each room will be equipped with its own pantry and kitchen, for independent operations during simultaneous events. The structures terrace balcony offers an overlooking perspective and panoramic view of a lush forest green scenery and landscaping elements by DQA Environmental Design Inc.
The clubhouse complex also features a 300 sqm infinity pool with a seemingly floating gazebo, a basketball court complete with bleacher-type seats for spectators in an outdoor stadium setting, an integrated playground for kids, fishing lake with pier-like decks, campsite, and picnic area.
The design of the clubhouse works with the neo-vernacular design concept, using materials that communicate modern Filipino qualities, and elements from traditional Filipino architecture such as anahaw for the roof, colored glass for windows and doors, earth-tones tiles and paving.
The clubhouse is set to be completed on fourth quarter 2004.
