Extended shopping at 3rd World Bazaar Festival

The World Bazaar Festival, the grandest and biggest Christmas bazaar in the country, will go on its third run at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from Dec. 4 to 14.
"Due to public clamor, were bringing back the biggest and grandest bazaar in the Philippines," said Joseph L. Ang, founding chairman of Worldbex Services International, organizer of World Bazaar. "Whats even better, we are extending its run to 11 days, which is five days more than last year. So that means more shopping days for the bazaar-loving Pinoys."
According to Ang, Worldbex is now accepting applications for exhibitors in the 3rd World Bazaar Festival. "This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to get the necessary exposure. Last year, more than 50,000 shoppers came to check out the merchandise at the bazaar. With this extended run, were expecting the number of shoppers to increase, or to even double," Ang said.
"We got positive feedback from last years exhibitors, especially from the first-time entrepreneurs. They said that the 2nd World Bazaar Festival gave their small business the necessary push to take off," Ang said. "In fact most of them will be participating in this years bazaar."
Ang further noted that other bazaars operate only for two or three days. "That gives limited buying opportunities for the shoppers and minimal exposure for the exhibitors," added Ang. "As a result the return of investment is small."
The 3rd World Bazaar Festival, like the first two, will occupy a 20,000 square meter wide shopping area at the World Trade Center and will feature top-of-the-line merchandise such as toys, home decorations, Christmas décor, clothing and accessories, home and office furnishing, music products, holidays food, gift items and other novelty items. As part of World Bazaar Festival yearly tradition, kids and adults will once again get the chance to go the real Finnish Santa Clause up close and join the photo session.
The bazaar will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight. Ang explained that this is perfect for shoppers who dont have the time to swing by the stores during the day, they can shop to their hearts content at night.
The 3rd World Bazaar Festival is organized once again exclusively for the benefit of the Bantay Bata 163. "This will be our advance Christmas gift for the children," said Ang.
Interested exhibitors and visitors for the World Bazaar Festival may call Worldbex Services International at telephone number 531-6374 and 531-6350 or e-mail at [email protected]. For additional information, log on to www.worldbex.com.
