"Starting October, construction of the resort’s new wing covering a lot area of 6,321 square meters will be undertaken to cater to our more discerning and privileged clientele. "This signals our commitment in giving them first-class services and facilities," Henry Chusuey, Boracay Regency Beach Resort chairman and president explained.
The new section, carefully planned to compete with five-star hotels abroad, features an additional 110 luxuriously-appointed accommodations, including suites, family, deluxe, superior and standard rooms. A modern convention center that has a 500 guest capacitty will be constructed, together with five function rooms for smaller groups, all furnished with state-of-the-art audio visual facilities.
Another highlight of the new structure will be an upscale music lounge and bar planned by top-notch architects, stylishly fitted to be the dining destination of choice of Boracay residents and visitors. It is envisioned to lure many partygoers and accentuate the island atmosphere through a new concept in design.
Also included in the development will be a new swimming pool and spa with holistic lifestyle treatments such as relaxing massages and aromatherapy. The gym will also undergo a major expansion, with more of the newest fitness equipment and competent exercise trainers. The hotel’s lobby will also undertake a major renovation, as it will be relocated to the center of the resort for the guests’ convenience.
