Condominium management seminar on Nov. 21-22

A comprehensive professional development seminar on "Condominium Management" will be presented by the Philippine Association of Building Administrators Inc. (PABA), jointly with the Condominium Management Association of the Phils. Inc. (CMAP) in cooperation with the Philippine Institute of Building Management Foundation Inc., scheduled on Nov. 21 and 22, Thursday and Friday, at 6-9 p.m., at the AIM Conference Center, Ramcar Function Room, 3rd Floor, J.V. del Rosario Foundation Bldg., Benavidez/Trasiera Streets, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

Val. S Abeng, PABA and CMAP president, said there is a growing demand for trade professionals who specialize on condominium operations, maintenance, administration and management in the building and property management industry sector. In line with the demand for condominium administrator, Abeng stated that this being the only training and professional development seminar available in the field of building and property management industry, will provide the much-needed comprehensive background for the professional management and administration of commercial, office and residential condominium development projects.

Seminar participants will broaden their knowledge, skills and understanding of condominium management as a new profession and be familiarized with the condominium concepts pursuant to Republic Act No. 4726, otherwise known as the "Condominium Act," the Master Deed and Declaration of Restrictions, House Rules and Regulations, the condominium management organizational set-up, government registration requirements and regulations, the articles of incorporation and its by-laws, the legal aspects of condominium documentation requirements, assessments of condominium dues, membership fees and other special assessments, as well as the basic roles, duties and responsibilities of a condominium administrator.

The seminar will be presented by facilitators of the country’s practitioners who are highly recognized, qualified and experienced in the field of condominium management.
