Sta. Lucia to build sports club, residential tower at Global City
September 21, 2002 | 12:00am
Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sta. Lucia Realty and Development Incorporated for the construction of a luxury sports club and residential tower to be located at the very heart of the Bonifacio Global City.
Under terms of the MOA, a joint venture company will be formed to construct both the first phase sports club and second phase residential tower.
Situated within the Bonifacio Global Citys previously undeveloped core sector, the Sta. Lucia-FBDC project will occupy a 5,139 square meter lot, and signals the opening of the prime City Center area to third-party developers.
First phase planning of the sports club includes an initial development of 3,905 square meters into a 3-level building with bowling lanes, basketball courts, a billiard alley, tennis court, badminton courts, swimming pool, gym and sauna massage facilities. In addition, the sports complex will have a wide variety of retail, entertainment and dining facilities. The sports club will include leasable retail spaces, function rooms, restaurants, a stocked library and Internet centers. Construction of the sports club is expected to begin in early 2003.
For inquiries of development and/or lease opportunities in the Bonifacio Global Citys City Center area, as well as other prime areas, please contact Lilibeth Andalis, FBDC vice president for sales and leasing, at tel. (02) 555-0001.
