Empire East Land president Anthony Charlemagne Yu said that the SLEX interchange in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and the circumferential road will significantly improve traffic flow and stimulate more economic-and tourism-related activities that will greatly benefit both the residents and the workers of the multinational firms operating in the area.
Yu likewise lauded the private sectors initiatives in these infrastructure projects, saying such efforts are necessary in boosting the development of the Sta. Rose growth center as well as bustling Gen. Trias in Cavite.
The new SLEX interchange will be located in Barangay Malitlit in Sta. Rosa while the circumferential road will serve as an alternate route from the Tagaytay-Balibago Road to the Mamplasan Interchange.
Yu noted that the new SLEX interchange can serve as an alternative route to its popular Laguna BelAir township development, which can be accessed through the Sta. Rosa and Mamplasan Interchanges and the Governors Hills project in Gen. Trias, Cavite.
Empire East Land is currently marketing the commercial center of Laguna BelAir in Sta. Rosa. The commercial center is zoned into two parts: The Strip along the townships Rodeo Drive and The Center, which lines the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay National Highway. The area already hosts McDonalds, Metrobank, Servitek and a number of recently opened stores, an Internet café, a freight and cargo service center, a travel agency, a ready-to-wear boutique, a beauty salon, a bookstore and a laundry outlet.
In Gen. Trias, Cavite, the companys affordable housing subsidiary, Empire East Properties, Inc., is currently fast-tracking land development work on the 16-hectare commercial component of its Governors Hills residential-commercial project.
