Bataan Governor Leonardo B. Roman said the sports complex has an 8,000 seating capacity enough to accommodate a huge audience for musical concerts, professional basketball tournaments and other similar programs.
Located on a 5,000-sq.m. land beside the provincial capitol building, Roman said the new edifice is considered as one of the best sports complexes in Central Luzon with its international standard features.
It has a well-secured parking area of 2,000 sq.m. and facilities comparable to the ULTRA Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Noel Jimenez, project engineer of the sports complex, explained that the top caliber structures flooring, goal and lightings are specifically designed to suit the requirements of the countrys pro basketball league and other sports body.
The site is accessible to the public, about half kilometer from the town proper.
The complex will also house several government offices operating in the province.
Air conditioning system will be installed for the greater comfort of the arena and to be more competitive to those located in Metro Manila.
