MANILA, Philippines - Berjaya is expanding its automotive brand portfolio in the Philippines by becoming the newest and exclusive distributor of SsangYong vehicles in the country. Francis Lee, an Executive Director of Berjaya Group Of Companies, is the Chairman of the new Ssangyong distributor company Ssangyong Berjaya Motor Philippines Inc. (SBMP) together with newly appointed David Macasadia as the Managing Director.
Lee is the Chairman of Berjaya Auto Philippines Inc, the exclusive distributor of Mazda products in the Philippines since 2013, and is also an Executive Director of Bermaz Motor, the exclusive distributor of Mazda in Malaysia since 2008.
Veteran automotive industry executive David M. Macasadia takes the helm as SsangYong Philippines’ Managing Director. With close to 25 years of experience in vehicle sales and operations, Macasadia, along with his hardworking and dedicated team, are ready to take on the challenge of reinvigorating the SsangYong brand.
