Ford honors top dealers at 2014 Annual Dealer Convention

MANILA, Philippines - Ford Philippines recently celebrated its 2014 Annual Ford Dealer Convention at the Filinvest Tent, which recognized top achievers among their Metro Manila and provincial dealerships.

Ford Balintawak, under the leadership of its dealer principal Anthony N. Cheng, was named Ford’s ‘2013 Dealer of the Year’ in Metro Manila. Ford Iloilo, led by dealer principal Andre R. Borromeo, was named the ‘2013 Dealer of the Year’ among provincial dealerships for the second year in a row.

Both dealerships were recognized for their overall distinction in sales and service performance for full year 2013, covering vehicle and parts sales and customer satisfaction metrics.

Ford Global City received awards for being Metro Manila’s ‘Top-Selling Dealer’ of the Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus, Ford Mustang, Ford Expedition and Ford E-150; moreover claiming the title of most fleet sales among all dealerships. Ford Alabang was also distinguished for being the ‘Top-Selling Dealer’ for the Ford Everest, Ford Ranger and Ford Explorer.

“The year 2013 was another incredible chapter of Ford here in the Philippines. It was a truly great year as we achieved record-breaking sales across our class-defining and segment-leading vehicles. All this would not have been possible without our committed and dedicated dealer network, who have continued to share our Ford story with our customers every time they set foot inside each of our dealerships,” said Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, VP of marketing and sales, Ford Philippines. 

The ARB group was recognized for the ‘Best Sales Administration Team’ and ‘Best in Customer Viewpoint’ categories. Individual honors went to Ivy Castro for ‘Group Sales Manager of the Year’, Leo Villavert of Ford Iloilo for ‘Branch Head of the Year’, and Mary Antonette Cruz of Ford Global City for ‘Top Fleet Sales Consultant.’ Both Villavert and Cruz have won both awards two years in a row. Francisco Dela Cruz of the ANC Group took home the award for ‘General Manager of the Year,’ while Richie Xavier of Ford Global City was recognized as ‘General Sales Manager of the Year.’

The award for ‘Outstanding Retail Excellence for Year 2013’ was given to Ford Balintawak, Ford Butuan, Ford Commonwealth, Ford Iloilo, and Ford Quezon Avenue.

“Our Ford dealer network continues to play a pivotal role in our success and we are committed to expanding our network to 37 dealerships by year-end and open more doors to customers nationwide as we all Go Further this 2014 and continue sharing our Ford story with our growing dealer network,” said Bustamante.
