Mitsubishi Motors assists victims of Yolanda

MANILA, Philippines - Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) offers its sincerest condolences and sympathies to those affected by the recent super typhoon “Yolanda” (Haiyan). With the goal of extending much needed assistance, MMPC donated P1 million to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) intended for the quick relief of the victims of this recent super typhoon which is said to be the strongest and most destructive typhoon in the world’s history. 

MMPC President and CEO Hikosaburo Shibata, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Administration Bernardo Umali and Vice President for Marketing Services Froilan Dytianquin turned over the check donation to Hon. Richard Gordon, Chairman and CEO of PNRC and Janette Alcaraz, Director, Fund Generation - PNRC.

With thousands of lives lost and immense damages to properties that the rage of this natural catastrophe has left the country, MMPC also joins the whole nation in prayer for the quick recovery of the Philippines most specially the areas that are vastly affected by the typhoon.

MMPC hopes that the amount donated will provide immediate assistance to the victims and in its little way will further aid them as they fully recover from this catastrophe.
