Michelin’s rolls out Primacy 3 ST tire

Tried and tested The Michelin Primacy 3 ST tires meet the demands of the most demoing drivers

MANILA, Philippines - World-leading tire manufacturer, Michelin, recently set new benchmarks in motoring safety, silence and comfort in the Philippines with the launch of the new Michelin Primacy 3 ST.  Designed  and  developed  exclusively  for  the  Asia  Pacific  region’s  extreme  roads  and weather conditions, the Michelin Primacy 3 ST meets these specific demands of drivers.

“We are listening to our consumers’ needs and for that we have data specifically collected from consumers over a 10-year period in all the countries in this region with extreme weather and road conditions — from extreme heat in Australia in summer to humidity during the rainy season in Southeast Asia. To develop this total performance and deploy the right technologies, Michelin conducted   preliminary studies and tests on more than the distance of 1.3 million kilometers. The company then spent 18 months designing, developing and deploying those research findings to produce the  Michelin  Primacy 3 ST in  our  factories  here in  Thailand,”  said Michelin Philippines chief representative Michael Nunag

Designed to fit most of the passenger cars in this market, the new Michelin Primacy 3 ST tire takes the combination of safety, silence, comfort and mileage to an entirely new level.

In terms of safety, Stabiligrip and FlexMax technology ensures a shorter braking distance of 2.9 meters on wet roads when compared with other brands, while tire longevity is extended by 25 percent compared to its predecessors.

Thanks to Michelin’s proprietary EvenPeak technology, the MICHELIN Primacy 3 ST features a unique pattern with more sizes of tread blocks, spreading noise across a frequency range which makes it less sensitive to human hearing.

The new  tire  also  features  Michelin’s  CushionGuard  technology,  combining  flexible  tread compounds, shock absorbent sidewalls and noise-filtering rubber to cushion vibrations caused by uneven road surfaces.

Superior performance in the same tire is the strategy of Michelin Total Performance, and it manages to provide maximum safety, silence, comfort and longevity.

“Michelin’s  ability to  bring  several  key  performance  factors  together  in  one  tire,  and  then improve each one of them, makes a real difference for motorists. To have the most comfortable and quietest ride, together with maximum safety, offers a real step-up for our motorists,” Nunag added.
