MANILA, Philippines - Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) took part in the recently held nationwide GK Bayani Challenge where the Toyota-City of Santa Rosa-GK Village in Brgy. Pulong Sta. Cruz, Santa Rosa City, Laguna was chosen as one of the sites for the five-day event. Toyota supported the event by contributing logistical support and construction-related materials, as well as sponsoring relevant activities such as the Bayanihan Race Station at TMP, a birthday party for the children of beneficiaries, and Kalinga Night.
The Toyota-City of Santa Rosa-GK Village is a project of TMP through its social and humanitarian arm, Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF), in partnership with the City Government of Santa Rosa, Laguna and GK Community Development Foundation. The Bayani Challenge is spearheaded by Pilipinas Natin, the special volunteerism program of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
