Chevrolet Philippines celebrates its first-ever Bowtie event
MANILA, Philippines - Chevrolet Philippines has a lot to be thankful for this year as the brand has grown in terms of sales, aftersales service recognition and dealer partners. In 2011, Chevrolet was able to increase its sales figures by 34 percent. The same kind of optimism prevailed in 2012 when Chevrolet launched three new vehicles: the Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Sonic and Chevrolet Trailblazer. All newly launched products are Chevrolet’s entry to the three biggest car segments in the local market.
Last July 27, 2012, JD Power Asia Pacific awarded Chevrolet Philippines the Best Customer Satisfaction for Aftersales Service for the second time in a row. For a brand to win such a prestigious award two years consecutively is proof of the consistent premium service that Chevrolet and its network of 19 dealers provides.
All the success that the brand achieved this year is credited to the hard work, determination and love for the brand that each member of the organization has exerted. To acknowledge the exceptional performance of Chevy dealers and their stewards, Chevrolet returns to its American roots by celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday through a Bowtie event which served as a venue for the first ever Chevrolet Grandmasters Awards.
The Grandmasters program is not just about handing out awards to outstanding dealers and their employees but is designed to motivate each Chevrolet dealer organization to raise the level of customer care in terms of sales, aftersales service and facilities ensuring clients receive the best ownership experience possible.
A Bowtie night to remember
The Chevrolet Bowtie event was held at Enderun Colleges in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Enderun is situated on two lavishly landscaped hectares in McKinley Hill and features an Asian colonial architecture with contemporary interiors. The Courtyard and the Atrium served as a venue for Chevrolet’s first Bowtie event.
The night was filled with glamour and style with the event’s elegant Academy Awards theme. The Enderun Courtyard’s sophisticated set design was decked with a long red carpet along with klieg lights, fascinating luminaries and photographers to complete the red carpet experience. The men of Chevrolet came in their sleek tuxedo suits while the women wore long gowns that perfectly matched the elegant Hollywood vibe. Entertainment was provided by no less than the U.P. chorus choir who serenaded the guests with lively classical music while they enjoyed a sumptuous fine dining experience. The organization and execution of the event was done by TCCCI’s very own stewards spearheaded by Ms. Jessica Lee of Dealer Development Services Division.
Prior to the awarding ceremony, TCCCI’s, President and Managing Director, Atty. Albert Arcilla presented the accomplishments of Chevrolet Philippines and a glimpse of things to come for the brand which set the mood of the night with much excitement and optimism. The affair was graced by Chevrolet’s Chairman Emeritus Mr. Richard L. Lee, Executive Director Ms. Selene L. Yu, TCCCI Stewards and the Chevrolet’s Dealer partners.

“This event is dedicated to the men and women of Chevrolet who have worked tirelessly to make a difference for the company and the brand. What makes our Chevy Experience different from all the rest is that ours comes not only from a book, a manual or from a well-crafted Year End Planning Deliverable but from our hearts. Every day, as we extend our hand to our customers to offer Chevrolet, it is a service that comes from our heart” said Atty. Albert Arcilla, President and Managing Director, Chevrolet Philippines.
Chevrolet’s growth continues to show significant progress as its dealer network expands. The night ended with the entire Chevrolet organization leaving in high spirits as each member looks forward to charge to 2013 with bigger aspirations.
