2012 Auto Focus Motorshow & Auto Expo Biggest outdoor motorshow/test drive coming to MOA

MANILA, Philippines - Prospective buyers and enthusiasts get a close up-look and the chance to test drive the car of their dreams when the country’s leading automobile companies assemble for the “2012 AUTO FOCUS MOTORSHOW & AUTO EXPO” (AFMS) at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds (behind SMX) on November 8-11, 2012. It is considered as the country’s biggest outdoor motor show. Twelve top automobile manufacturers and distributors are set to showcase and offer test drives of the latest and best-selling models from BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan, come-backing Peugeot, and Toyota.

This will be the 8th annual staging of this major motoring industry event organized by Sunshine Television (STV) and co-sponsored by Caltex with Techron, Bridgestone Tires, and the SM Mall of Asia with the Philippine Star as media partner.

As ‘Auto Focus’ and ‘Motoring Today’ TV host and STV Chairman/CEO Ray Butch Gamboa pointed out: “The Auto Focus Motor Show’s main purpose is to serve as a veritable one-stop shop for those looking to buy a car. Whatever the car of your dreams may be -- a gas-efficient sub-compact, a luxury sedan, a sleek sports car, a family van, a rugged SUV, or an all-utility pick-up -- these will all be there to see and more importantly, test drive. Before a final choice is made, prospective buyers can compare similar models head-to-head on features and performance, and look into the best deals, discounts and financing offers available. All these can conveniently be done on-site at the motor show thereby eliminating the time-consuming ordeal of having to hop from one dealer showroom to another.

 Apart from multiple hourly raffles throughout every exhibit day, there will be marching band exhibitions, a Gran Turismo competition among some of the country’s best on-line gamers, as well as a nightly performance by the renowned Flintstones Band at the motor show’s centrally-located general activity area. There will also be a separate special exhibit where visitors can try their hand at and experience the latest park-assist technological feature introduced by Ford Philippines on their Focus compact sedans.

The “2012 AUTO FOCUS MOTORSHOW & AUTO EXPO” will be open from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm throughout Thursday-Friday, of November 8-11. Public admission is free and visitors can be eligible for multiple hourly raffle draws by simply registering with each exhibitor they call on.
