Asian Carmakers turns over BMW 5 Series fleet for the 45th ADB Annual Governors' Meeting

MANILA, Philippines - Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW cars in the Philippines, formally handed over a fleet of BMW 5 Series to the Philippine government for the 45th ADB Annual Governors’ Meeting, in a symbolic turnover ceremony held last April 17 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). This is in preparation for the country’s biggest economic event hosting this year.

BMW is the official premium mobility sponsor of the 45th ADB Annual Governors’ Meeting. The provision of a fleet of BMW 5 Series vehicles for the visiting Heads of State is ACC’s participation in the upcoming 45th ADB Annual Governors’ Meeting which will be held from May 2 to 5, 2012 at the PICC.

Maricar Parco, ACC President and Glen Dasig, ACC Executive Director for Sales and Marketing joined by BMW Group Asia’s Regional Manager for International Direct and Special Sales, Mr. Thierry Weidenbach, formally turned over the fleet to Department of Finance (DOF) Undersecretary Leah De Leon, DOF Undersecretary Gil Beltran and DOF ASec. Teresa Habitan. The event was attended by ACC executives and officials from the government and the media.
