Successful PTRCA program graduates 6th batch of scholars from the Don Bosco Manpower & Skills Training Center
MANILA, Philippines - Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia, the first outside of Germany in joint partnership with Porsche AG and Don Bosco Technical Institute, are proud to present their 6th batch of Porsche Mechatronics graduates. Comprising of 16 scholars who underwent theoretical and practical training at Don Bosco Manpower and Skills Training, the portion of the school that is supported by benefactors, these students received further specialized training at the Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia in the PGA Cars facility. In addition, language tutorials were also provided in preparation for their country of destination.
After 19 months of intensive instruction and hands on experience, these scholars were handed over their certification as Porsche Mechatronics by Robert Coyiuto Jr., Chairman of PGA Cars together with Roberto Coyiuto III, Managing Director of Porsche Philippines. The commencement exercise was held last December 15, 2011 at the Porsche Center Philippines. As certified Porsche Mechatronics, these graduates are now eligible to work at various Porsche centers worldwide. This program provides assured job placements in the various Porsche markets. The PTRCA owes its success to its complete program package offering highly specialized education and assured employment to underprivileged students who now become breadwinners of their families. Established in 2008, the continued success of the PTRCA will ensure the competitiveness of the Filipinos in the global market.
