Over 100 modified cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles will compete in four major competitions namely the 16th Custom Car Show, 16th Sport Truck & SUV Show and the 4th Extreme Tuner Show all vying for four Best of Show awards. Trade and retail booths by the leading automotive aftermarket suppliers complete the industry showcase making the MANILA AUTO SALON the best and largest one-stop-shop showroom of the latest aftermarket consumer trends. This popular car show is conceptualized and produced by the Philippine’s leading motoring events organizer, Tradeshow International, Inc. (the team behind the annual TRANS SPORT SHOW).

A first for the Philippines, the newly formed Hot Rod Philippine Club will officially launch the so-called revolutionary introduction of the hot rodding culture to the Filipinos by helping the Philippine automotive enthusiasts produce world class Hot Rods. Photographers’ lenses will once again be challenged for the 2011 search for the Manila Auto Salon Race Queen. There will be an Automotive Workshop featuring the 3rd “Zero to Hero” on-the-spot custombuilding and tuning of a project car in 4 days by Speedlab. MP Turbo will hold the Manila Auto Salon TSD Auto Rally which is like the Sampaguita or “On Time, All the Time” rally. This will be open to all road going vehicles. It will be open to the public, run on good roads, with 2-4 members per team and the emphasis will be on route and time navigation rather on speed. For the toy car enthusiasts, the Die Cast Collectors of the Philippines will display Manila Auto Salon in Miniature featuring one of a kind die-cast collections which will surely captivate the model/die-cast car hobbyists. For the two-wheeled enthusiasts, there will be the special display of bicycles by Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival. Special exhibitor raffle events await the visitors such as the raffle promo by Innovasia Technology Pte., Ltd (Singapore) where GPS units will be given away.
