MANILA, Philippines - As the country gracefully ushered in the Year of the Rabbit this February, so did Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) begin announcing its big projects for 2011. Among them, is this year’s “Isuzu Family Challenge, 2011 edition” and the launch of their brand new, dance-provoking Isuzu jingle entitled “We’re Gonna Get You There”.
IPC president, Ryoji Yamazaki, in his commitment to come up with new, creative ways of communicating with the media, decided to celebrate this year’s launch party in extraordinary style. It was aboard one of the ships of Prestige Cruises along Manila Bay, that the company officially announced its timeline and plans for this year’s rendition of its annual Isuzu Family Challenge.
Like the Manila bay sunset cruise, this year’s edition of the Isuzu Family Challenge promises its participants a heightened sense of unique excitement. The event will be a 9-month, nationwide campaign involving valued Isuzu customers with their family members. Recreational activities are also incorporated into the event, so as to provide alternative choices and encourage family bonding. The event serves as part of Isuzu’s Diesel Mission campaign – a campaign that aims to highlight the inherent fuel-efficiency and durability of Isuzu vehicles.
The Isuzu Family Challenge 2011 edition will be comprised mainly of two parts: The Fuel Efficiency Competition and the Isuzu Family Dance Contest. The former involves an eco-run in 3 categories: The Crosswind (MT), The Alterra 4x2 (AT) and The D-MAX 4x2 (MT) (LS and LX variants only). While the latter is a dance competition involving 3-4 family members, grooving to the new Isuzu theme song entitled “We’re Gonna Get You There”, written and composed by Jungee Marcelo. Initial screening and actual event days will run from March-November 2011.
Clearly, Isuzu Philippines Corporation is taking its relationship with its Filipino consumers a notch higher by providing post-sales fun activities and demonstrating its vehicles’ compatibility with Philippine roads and conditions.
For further information on how to be part of the nationwide challenge, interested parties may contact their respective Isuzu dealers. You must have an Isuzu vehicle in your family (2005 to present models) to be qualified to join.
