MANILA, Philippines - Berrima Diesel Service, the Diesel Specialists from Australia and now with offices in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, recently became a benefactor with some P300,000 worth of DPChip units donated to the San Juan City Police Department in coordination with San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez.
The DPChips were fitted into the Police’s diesel pursuit vehicles (in photo above) which included a Toyota Innova, 2 Mitsubishi Stradas, and 2 Toyota Hiluxes. A performance booster for diesel engines, the DPChip will improve vehicle performance by around 20%, thereby assisting the police in performing their duties more efficiently.
The turnover of the DPChips took place at the San Juan Municipal Hall on August 31st, after a flag-raising ceremony.
The devices were fitted by none other than (inset photo) Berrima’s own Andrew Leimroth assisted by Raul Roque, Sales and Marketing Head (Philippines) and witnessed by San Juan City Vice Mayor Francis Zamora, Chief of Police Col. Lipana, and members of the San Juan City Council.
The donation is part of Berrima Diesel Service’s community outreach program and is in line with the company’s Green Diesel Motoring Initiative.
